Some people think that sheet capacities and bin capacities are the best way to select a shredder. But does sheet capacity indicate a shredder's performance? No - because most people shred twice as much as they think they do. And although some shredders offer high sheet capacities, they may not run very long which limits the amount of paper they will shred.

Fellowes have made selecting the right model easy because the shredders are already segmented according to their run-times; Personal shredders run from between 2 to 45 minutes and Commercial shredders will shred continuously for the disposal of large volumes of paper.

So all you have to do to select the right Fellowes shredder is to answer the following questions...

Shredders are also segmented into security categories called DIN levels. The higher the DIN level the better the protection. The panel below depicts the different DIN levels available on Fellowes Shredders.

There are several innovative features available on Fellowes shredders that make shredding faster, easier
and safer than ever.

Paper jams are frustrating. That’s why Fellowes built the first 100% Jam Proof System for our new shredder line. This innovative technology stops jams before they start by preventing paper overloads and powering through would-be jams from misfed paper. Now, not even paper jams can prevent your shredder from keeping up with your workflow.

As you insert paper, the shredder electronically measures paper thickness to prevent paper jams.

Watch the light bar while you shred:

           - Green to yellow means you are within the recommended range
           -
Red means the shredder is overfed – just remove the excess
              paper to resume shredding.

If a misfeed occurs, our 100% Jam Proof System will power through it!
